About five years ago, we
decided, after much discussion, that fruitcake does not deserve the
incredibly bad reputation that it has been handed over the last thirty
years. So we made it our goal to bring about a fruitcake renaissance by
scouting out the finest fruit ingredients that the world has to offer.
After extensive research, tasting, and many, many, rejections, we
believe that we have put together a very impressive collection. We have
found these luscious Australian fruits to be beyond compare, our dried
fruits to be of the highest quality,and a superlative selection of
nuts. Apparently, many of you agree with us, as we have a hard time
keeping these extraordinary items on the shelf!
Our fruitcake
campaign has been so successful that several of our clients have
inquired about the possibility of La Cuisine hosting a fruitcake
competition. We would love to have your thoughts and feedback on this
suggestion.
